About Our Club

Our club was established in 1989. We caters for all amateurs, short wave listeners and interested persons in radio communications, emergency communications, electronics, and micro processors.

We conduct regular activities of interest to members catering forthe diverse level of knowledge and experience.

For those interested in attaining an Amateur Radio license or upgrading their license class we have Wireless Institute Australia (WIA) Assessors. We can also arrange training sessions for those looking at attaining the Foundation class license.

When We Meet

Our club typically meets twice a month, holding admin meetings on the first Monday of the month and tech nights on the forth.

Admin Meetings normally held:

  • First Monday of each month
  • Barmera RSL Hall
  • 1930hrs start

Tech Nights normally held:

  • Forth Monday of the month
  • Berri SES Headquarters, Hughes St, Berri
  • 1930hrs start
