About Our Club
Our club was established in 1989. We caters for all amateurs, short wave listeners and interested persons in radio communications, emergency communications, electronics, and micro processors.
We conduct regular activities of interest to members catering for the diverse level of knowledge and experience.
Club members are often ‘Out & About‘ be it hunting Weather Sonde’s, activating parks as part of the WWFF program, assisting with in community events by providing communications assistance, and various activities.
For those interested in attaining an Amateur Radio license or upgrading their license class we have Wireless Institute Australia (WIA) Assessors. We can also arrange training sessions for those looking at attaining the Foundation class license.
